A native of Texas, Randy Hildebrandt saw his career plans change after a shoulder injury ended his professional baseball dream. As a star pitcher in high school, Randy aspired to be like the great pitcher Nolan Ryan. The shoulder injury prevented Randy from pitching after college and he realized he had to dream new dreams. Randy reluctantly began a career in insurance sales after he was recruited by an insurance company who saw his resume online. After making the decision to join the insurance industry, Randy decided to model his career after the most successful people in his former company.
